#11 – Reverse Mortgage is an Underused Mortgage Product

# 11.  A Reverse Mortgage could really help some of our Senior Homeowners.  What triggered this thought was an article I just read published by Dona DeZube, November 01, 2011 Turned Down for a Refinance? Don’t Take No for an Answer.  Dona really has some great ideas to refinance your existing Mortgage and to take out a new mortgage.

As an afterthought, I was thinking, there are Seniors also looking for help and wondering what they can do.  They have seen their portfolios dwindle and may want to size down, or are looking for a little extra money to pay necessary bills and be able to stay in their own homes.  To understand just how a Reverse Mortgage could work in assisting your lifestyle or need read the Frequently Asked Questions about HUD’s Reverse Mortgages.
